Maria Sharapova Bows Out of U.S. Open 2011

Former World No.1 Maria Sharapova bows out of the U.S. Open tennis championship by Flavia Pennetta.  The third seed Russian girl made lots of unforced errors and especially two double faults in the final game of her serve made her trouble.  Pennetta won the first set with ease 6-3 and then Maria Sharapova came back strongly in the second set. But Maria lost her momentum in the final set of the third round match.  The final score is Flavia Penneta defeated Maria Sharapova 6-3, 3-6, 6-4.

Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows Part-2, is the final venture of the Harry Potter Series, based on British Authour J.K.Rowling's Harry Potter Series.  The eighth and final part of the Harry Potter film series is directed by David Yates and it will hit the screen on 15th July 2011.  Daniel Radcliffe played the role of Harry Potter like the other previous series, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson as Harry's best friends.  Watch out the official trailer from Warner Bros. It has been tough battle between at all the nominees at the 83rd Academy Awards at Los Angles on Sunday Evening.  Colin Forth won the Best Actor Award for "The King's Speech" and  Natalie Portman has won the Best Actress Award for her performance in Black Swan.  The King's Speech sweeps the Best Picture award, Tom Hooper won the Best Director Award for the same movie.

AR Rahman Missed out Oscar at 83rd Academy Awards

Indian Music Maestro A.R.Rahman misses out Oscar award in both categories he was nominated.  Earlier, AR Rahman was nominated in Best Original Score (for 127 Hours) and Best Original song (for "If I Rise") category.  Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross has won the Best Original Score for his music composition for "The Social Network".  Randy Newman won his second oscar award at the 83rd Academy award for his song "We Belong Together" from the animated film Toy Story 3. 
AR Rahman earlier had won two oscars (for Best Original Score and Best Original Song category) at the 81st Academy award ceremony in 2009, has misses out this time for his work in Danny Boyle's "127 Hours".
